Account deletion

This page explains how to delete your toGaether account, available on the web (togaether.me) and in the iOS and Android apps.

You can request the deletion of your account at any time, without giving a reason. No subscription or role prevents it.

02From the mobile app

In the toGaether app (iOS or Android), signed in to your account:

1. Open Home.
2. Tap your avatar.
3. Open Settings.
4. In the Data card, press and hold the “Delete my account” button until it confirms.

The request is recorded immediately and the deletion date is displayed.

03From the website

1. Sign in at togaether.me.
2. Open Settings → Data.
3. Click “Delete my account”, then confirm with “Yes, delete my account”.

If you are not signed in, the link first takes you to the sign-in page, then back to your settings.

0430-day period and cancellation

Deletion becomes permanent 30 days after your request. During this period your account stays active: you can keep using it.

To cancel, go back to Settings → Data and choose “Cancel deletion” before the displayed date. Once that date is reached, the deletion runs automatically and can no longer be cancelled.

06Data we delete

On the deletion date, we delete:

• your profile (name, email address, account details) and your preferences;
• your sign-in access (email and password, Apple, Google or your school's sign-in);
• your association memberships, your applications and your notifications;
• your personal files: profile picture, cover image, imported files and saved signature.

07Data we keep in anonymised form

Some records must be kept by associations to meet their accounting obligations (10 years, article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code). They are not deleted, but your name and email address are removed from them:

• paid membership fees;
• expense claims and accounting entries;
• event tickets.

A technical record of the deletion (account identifier and date, with no name or email address) is kept to prove that your request was carried out.

Messages, photos and posts you shared in an association's shared space are not removed automatically: write to us to request their erasure.
