At the start of the academic year, most memberships are taken out over the few days of the associations fair. Every paper form is something to type up later, every cash payment a line to back up. Online membership removes both.
The student joins the association with a code or from its page, pays the membership fee through HelloAsso and becomes a member as soon as the payment is confirmed.

A membership card that is actually useful
The membership card is displayed in the app. It proves membership at the door of an event or for a member price, with no plastic card to print and no list to look through.
Membership fees linked to the accounts
Membership fees collected go into the association's treasury. The number of members whose fee is paid, which matters for the quorum of a general meeting, can be read without a manual count.
Running a successful membership drive at the start of the year
The associations fair is decided in a few hours. A membership code displayed on the stand, which the student types into their phone, converts better than a form to fill in and an appointment to pay later.
After the fair, the member list is the basis for the rest of the year: event invitations, reserved prices, notice of the general meeting. It no longer has to be rebuilt from sign-in sheets.

Does online membership cost the association anything?
No. toGaether is free for associations and takes no commission. Payments go through HelloAsso, which is free for associations.
Can we offer several membership fee amounts?
Yes, the association defines its own membership fees. The setup is described in detail in our guide to online membership.
What happens to members' data?
It is hosted in France and handled in line with the GDPR: minimal collection, right of access and right to erasure. Our guide to the member file sets out the rules.
